Катариненштадт - Маркс

Monument of Catherine II in Marx (Katharinenstadt, Baronsk, Ekaterinenstadt, Marxstadt, Saratov region, September, 2016). It was she who issued a Manifest (Manifesto, July 22, 1763), inviting people from Europe to come and settle in the Russian Empire. Among them were my ancestors too.

Eva Margaretha Hergert (from Orlowskoje / Orlowskaja) married Johann Friedrich Trippel in Katharinenstadt in 1777 and they had 7 children in 1798:
— son Johannes 1783.
— son Valentin 1786.
— son Johann Christoph 1789.
— son Johann Jakob Sohn 1793.
— son Georg Simon 1796.
— daughter Katharina Elisabeth 1782
— daughter Sophia Elisabeth 1794.

Johann Friedrich Trippel was born about 1757 and died in 1823.

This shows that Johann Friedrich Trippel and Eva Margaretha Trippel (nee Herget) had few more children after 1798, who lost their father in 1823.

Eva Margaretha Trippel (nee Herget) was born 27.12. 1761 in Böhl, Germany and died 29.12. 1836 in Katharinenstadt Russia (other names: Baronsk, Marxstadt, Ekaterinenstadt, now Marx, Saratov region).
